Every child loves a game of Pass the Parcel…
Recently I attended a Kids Party with my son, one of the games the kids played was Pass the Parcel and it reminded me of how much fun it can be for kids especially when there is a prize for each layer.
So if you’re throwing a party, why not keep it on theme?
Unicorns have been all the rage this year, so if you are planning a Unicorn Party, why not create a Unicorn Pass the Parcel with unicorn prizes for each layer.
WHAT YOU NEED
- Music
- Scissors
- cellotape
- Iridescent wrapping paper
- unicorn prizes
How to play unicorn pass the parcel
Start by wrapping your parcel (best done the day before your party to minimise stress on the day!)
Remember to wrap the best prize first and put a smaller prize in every subsequent layer. Wrap as many layers as you want, depending on how long you want the game to last or you could make sure there are enough layers to make sure every child gets a prize.
Once your parcel is wrapped, it’s time to play!
Let all the children sit in a circle and pass the parcel around until the music stops. Whoever is holding the parcel unwraps a layer and wins a prize! Play until all the layers have been unwrapped and the grand prize has been revealed!
